Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for a manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. The role supports a multi-skilled team on 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) with overtime as needed. Expect entry-level maintenance tasks, CMMS work orders, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections, lubrications, and minor repairs, plus contribute to predictive maintenance data collection. Physical requirements and safety PPE are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment substance abuse test.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders with limited troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
• Inspect and maintain components (sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes, bearings).
• Gather data for predictive maintenance (oil, vibration, ultrasound, infrared).
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks.
