Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Franklin Park, IL to perform machine maintenance, electrical work, and to read schematics. This role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience of manufacturing machine maintenance.
• Experience with electrical.
• Associates Degree Preferred or Trade School Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Machine maintenance processes including: electronic, electrical, and mechanical installations, as well as repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks within a manufacturing environment.
• Disassembling and reassembling of machinery.
• Read and interpret schematics and process control diagrams.
• Troubleshooting and calibrating level, pressure, temperature, and flow measuring instruments.
• Working with electronic controls and circuits, hard wiring relay logic systems and process instrumentation.
• Reading blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Communicating with contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate smooth operation and project implementation.
• Delegating tasks and leading team members in day-to-day duties.
