Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is hiring a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. The role emphasizes mechanical craft, alignment, and rigorous testing to restore equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with rotating industrial equipment (AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps).
Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
Willingness to travel for field service, overtime, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment.
Mechanical craft: assembly & alignment, laser alignment, setting gaps and seals to OEM specs.
Perform inspections with calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify tolerances.
Conduct overhauls replacing bearings, gearboxes, and other torque-critical components.
Utilize portable diagnostic tools to test equipment safety and reliability.
