Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to service rotating equipment across the United States, requiring travel. You will lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls while leveraging advanced tooling to deliver unmatched customer service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps, and can read blueprints with strong measurement skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-facing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment.
• Perform precision assembly, alignment, and set OEM specifications.
• Conduct detailed mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Perform technical testing with portable equipment to ensure system reliability.
• Perform specialized maintenance including cleaning and prepping electro-mechanical equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and collaborate with team to meet project goals.
