Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Reno, NV is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake and suspension systems, perform alignments and related tasks. You will test batteries, remount tires, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS components using shop tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
