Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension, and alignment components and to install related systems. You will test batteries, handle tire mounting/dismounting, rebalancing, and TPMS calibration while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to work at a fast pace, and willingness to assist teammates. On-site work with generous benefits accompanies competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles and performing offsite/emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as needed.
