Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Reno, NV. You will install and service brake systems, suspension and alignment components, test batteries, and handle tires and TPMS systems.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop. The position involves operating service vehicles for offsite work, providing excellent customer service, and supporting colleagues across the service team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and various hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as needed.
