Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service. You will work with hydraulic/electric brake systems, test batteries, and manage tire and wheel assemblies, TPMS calibration, and related tasks.

The role involves operating tools and service vehicles, supporting teammates, and ensuring high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• Testing and installing batteries;
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/rebuilding/calibrating TPMS components;
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• Assisting other employees;
• Test driving vehicles;
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services;
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
