Job summary
Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in California. You will service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, perform battery tests, and handle tire mounting, balancing, and TPMS work.
The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will work with various tools, assist teammates, and may drive to service sites for offsite or emergency road calls.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
Responsibilities
- Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
- Testing and installing batteries.
- Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing TPMS components.
- Using equipment and hand tools and assisting other employees.
- Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
- Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as needed.
