Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignment, and suspension components. The role includes battery testing, tire mounting, rebalancing, and TPMS calibration, with duties across a shop and on-site service calls.

The position emphasizes customer service, safe lifting, and operating shop equipment in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with competitive compensation in a multi-store western network.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild and/or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
