Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for a General Liability Pre Suit Attorney to join its growing practice in the DC Metro Area.

Responsibilities include day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6-10 Case Managers, focusing on general liability cases.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the DC/VA/MD State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on general liability cases.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
