Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Baltimore is seeking a Pre-Suit focused Attorney to handle pre-litigation matters and guide clients through the case process. You will oversee a team and manage negotiations and doc preparation in general liability matters.

The role requires a law degree from an accredited school, active Maryland Bar membership, and 1+ year of general liability or personal injury experience. Strong writing and advocacy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active MD State Bar Association in good standing.
• 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on general liability cases.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
