Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in the DC Metro Area is seeking a General Liability Pre Suit Attorney to join our growing practice. You will handle day-to-day pre-litigation work, guide clients through the process, and draft and file pre-litigation documents.

This role emphasizes managing high-volume cases, leading a team of 6–10 Case Managers, and driving compliance and performance. We value strong writing and oral advocacy and offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active DC/VA/MD Bar status.
• 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and self-starting career drive.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on general liability cases
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
