Qualifications

• 7+ years in robotic welding and pre-sales applications.
• Solid understanding of GMAW/GTAW processes and weld metallurgy.
• CAD proficiency for conceptual cell layouts using 2D/3D tools.
• US work authorization and Pewaukee area residence.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical feasibility as the pre-sales technical lead for robotic welding cells.
• Architect welding automation concepts, select processes and tooling, and design cell layouts.
• Develop technical proposals including layouts, cycle times, labor hours, and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld sample evaluations, process trials, and feasibility testing.
• Travel to customer facilities (~15% domestic/international) for requirements and reviews.
• Ensure weld processes meet standards (AWS D1.1, ASME IX) and customer specs.
