Qualifications

• Education: B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.
• Work experience: Minimum 2 years in technology-focused pre-sales, engineering, consulting or similar background.
• General experience: Technical pre-sales and/or consulting experience.
• Technical knowledge: Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Design; familiarity with one or more Lumen pillars (global network infrastructure, edge cloud, security, communications).
• Communication: Ability to lead & engage in technical workshops, RFP/discussions with IT stakeholders.
• Sales ability: Lead & engage in complex deal discussions with internal teams to drive solutions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer meetings in person or via collaboration tools; develop technical proposals and presentations with business acumen.
• Analyze customer objectives, conduct technical discovery, and architect client solutions to meet requirements.
• Advise customers and sales teams on technical aspects of proposed solutions; assess fit to needs and availability.
• Provide internal feedback to product management and leadership on customer experience and product functionality.
• Act as customer advocate in pre-sales activities, including architecture design discussions, POCs, RFP/RFI responses, and workshops.
• Support local sales teams in pursuing opportunities, collaborating with success managers and product teams.
