Job summary

Salesforce is seeking multiple Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join the Data Foundation Pre-Sales team, focusing on MuleSoft and Informatica integrations across multiple industries. You will partner with sales to align solutions with customer visions, deliver demos, and shape technical proposals.

The role emphasizes AI-aware solution architecture, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing learning to stay ahead in the evolving AI landscape. Domestic travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience and coding against Java APIs.
• Experience with cloud technologies and SaaS/iPaaS.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, databases, and BI concepts.
• Experience building PoCs and responding to RFIs/RFPs independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with partners to qualify deals and guide value.
• Conduct technical discovery meetings and document business and technical requirements.
• Deliver architecture reframing and develop white-boarding skills.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and support proposals.
• Lead demos, workshops, and architecture discussions with customers.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Data Foundation products.
• Stay current on AI trends and agentic concepts.
