Job summary

Salesforce is seeking several Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join our Data Foundation team, combining MuleSoft and Informatica capabilities to turn data into AI-ready foundation. You will partner with sales, deliver demos, and craft solutions across industries, with a focus on cloud, data management, and AI-enabled advisory.

The role spans architecture, PoCs, RFIs/RFPs, and collaboration with product teams, with travel and time-zone flexibility required.

Qualifications

Demonstrated presentation and composure abilities in front of technical and non-technical audiences.
Hands-on Java development experience and ability to code and debug against Java APIs.
Experience with cloud technologies — iPaaS, SaaS, cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge of data warehousing, databases, BI concepts, and data management mechanics.
Experience building PoCs and RFIs/RFPs independently.

Responsibilities

Qualify deals with internal/external partners and provide technical guidance to set expectations for customer success.
Document and analyze business and technical requirements for detailed solution proposals.
Deliver architecture reframing and white-boarding through customer scenarios and demos.
Support demos at events and collaborate with Product/Engineering/Marketing to improve Data Foundation products.
Stay current on AI trends and agentic concepts to position MuleSoft and Informatica value.
