H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer for robotic welding and automated systems in Pewaukee, WI. This direct-hire role requires leading pre-sales technical aspects and collaborating with sales and engineering to craft winning automation proposals.

You will evaluate customer prints for weld feasibility, specify processes, and architect robotic cell concepts (FANUC/ABB). On-site 1st shift with light travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in welding automation or pre-sales engineering.
• Understanding of GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding processes.
• CAD proficiency in 2D/3D design tooling.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• US citizenship or GC within 45-minute Pewaukee radius.

Responsabilités

• Lead feasibility reviews: parts, drawings, specs for weld feasibility.
• Architect welding automation concepts and cell layouts.
• Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times, BOMs.
• Coordinate weld trials and feasibility testing with teams.
• Travel to customer sites ~15% for requirements and reviews.
• Ensure weld processes meet AWS D1.1 / ASME IX and specs.
