Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Commercial Solutions Architect in Texas to guide prospects through dbt Cloud value and capabilities. Based in Austin, you will lead technical discussions, run live demos, and translate customer data needs into compelling architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a data practitioner or consultant in data operations or analytics.
• Strong technical foundation with modern data warehousing architectures and the modern data stack.
• dbt experience preferred; dbt certification is a plus.
• Experience working asynchronously as part of a partially remote, distributed team.
• Comfort presenting to diverse stakeholders in externally facing roles.
• Willingness to travel; in-person relationship building is valued.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of time on pre-sales opportunities to understand customer use cases and value.
• Consult with potential customers to uncover data challenges and show how dbt Cloud can help.
• Lead demonstrations of technical and business impact with tailored demos of dbt Cloud.
