Job summary

SCI is hiring an Advance Planning Funeral Director in Providence, RI to serve client families with pre-need arrangements and advance planning services. You will meet with families at the funeral home or virtually, presenting tailored service and product options to meet cultural needs while driving revenue for the location.

The role emphasizes compassionate, results-driven sales, community engagement, and thorough preparation for every appointment, with a focus on building lasting relationships

Qualifications

• Must be able to generate leads and refer prospects consistently.
• Strong sales and presentation skills to explain funeral service options.
• Customer-focused approach with compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and prospecting 1–2 hours daily.
• Obtain referrals from families served at the location.
• Network and build community relationships.
• Present service, product, and property solutions to meet families' needs.
• Maintain activity logs and productivity metrics.
• Build trust-based relationships to earn referrals.
• Meet with families in person or virtually to discuss pre-planning.
