Job summary

Service Corporation International (SCI) is seeking a Sales Professional to educate families about pre-need arrangements and related services, building lasting relationships with clients and communities. You will drive lead generation, follow-up, and referrals while maintaining professionalism and empathy in difficult times.

The role emphasizes teamwork with funeral directors and staff, flexibility to work evenings or weekends, and a strong focus on customer service and referrals to secure future

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• Current state driver’s license with acceptable driving record; in states/provinces where required, Funeral Directors License may be required.
• Sales experience or 1–2 years industry experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and referrals using company tools, processes and standards.
• Prospect 4 hours daily through in-person outreach at events, door knocking, or seminars.
• Develop relationships with families and the community; build trust and offer solutions.
• Present the Personal Planning Guide to families and referred clients and explain its benefits.
• Maintain activity tracking and adapt schedule to achieve results; may involve evenings or weekends.
• Collaborate with Funeral Directors and staff to provide seamless, high-quality service.
