Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Foreclosure Operations Supervisor to oversee staff performance and ensure compliance with post NOI pre-foreclosure due-diligence, audit requirements, and timelines. You will collaborate with departments to identify improvements and help ensure adherence to all relevant policies and laws.

The role requires knowledge of FDCPA, loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, and strong planning skills.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
• Excellent understanding of loss mitigation, payment history and pre-foreclosure process
• Familiarity with mortgage software, e.g., FiServ, GNMA-EVARS
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on short-term basis
• Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit
• Ability to reconcile reinstatement amounts, and check results for accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and report escalated issues
• Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Some additional college coursework preferred
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience as a Collections and/or Pre-Foreclosure Supervisor and Mortgage Servicing experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor employees’ performance to ensure adherence to procedures and timelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform duties per company policies and applicable laws.
• Ensure staff adheres to standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate with breach & foreclosure validation teams to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
