Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a supervisor to oversee staff performing post NOI pre-foreclosure diligence and ensure compliance with policies and timelines. The role requires FDCPA knowledge and mortgage servicing experience, with a salary range of $67,400–$72,400 per year.

The position emphasizes collaboration with internal teams to improve processes, manage delinquency reporting, and coordinate with breach and foreclosure validation teams to meet deadlines. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Excellent understanding of loss mitigation, payment history and pre-foreclosure process.
• Familiarity with mortgage software, e.g., FiServ, GNMA-EVARS.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on short-term basis.
• Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
• Ability to reconcile reinstatement amounts, and check results for accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and report escalated issues.
• Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Some additional college coursework preferred.
• One to three years’ experience as a Collections and/or Pre-Foreclosure Supervisor and Mortgage Servicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to due-diligence, audit requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with departments to implement process improvements.
• Manage projects for statutory changes in pre-foreclosure notifications.
• Review exception reporting for file eligibility for First Legal.
• Prepare and review daily delinquency reports.
• Develop cross-department relationships to maximize efficiencies.
• Supervise daily workflow and uphold corporate standards.
• Coordinate with breach & foreclosure validation teams to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
