Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Practice Manager to lead daily operations, optimize patient flow, and coach the team for exceptional service. You will align staff priorities with clinical workflows, ensuring high-quality patient care and strong business performance.

You will collaborate with the Optometrist, manage scheduling and labor planning, and drive adoption of new systems and AI-enabled tools to enhance practice efficiency and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant management education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, service execution, and operational consistency across the practice.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader by supporting team alignment, patient needs, service recovery, and real-time priorities.
• Establish clear expectations for staff and ensure daily priorities, patient care standards, and performance goals are understood.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow, clinical support expectations, required services, patient handoffs, team readiness, and evolving offerings.
• Lead, coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable for performance and patient care standards.
• Support new hire development, ongoing training, company initiatives, technology updates, process changes, and learning needs.
• Reinforce exceptional patient service behaviors that support trust and timely follow-up.
• Review performance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Communicate key business priorities to the team in a way that connects results to behavior and patient care.
• Learn and adapt to practice systems, reporting tools, and evolving digital workflows.
