Responsibilities

• Achieving Business Center sales goals
• Developing and executing market growth strategies
• Maintaining a deep understanding of market opportunities and trends
• Winning new projects with key clients
• Developing and managing strategic client relationships
• Assessing and pursuing new markets and clients
• Building Stantec’s external visibility and industry presence
• Exceeding client expectations through strong account management across the BC and personally leading accounts for major clients in the BC
• Achieving minimum client- and proposal-specific marketing and business development goals, including cross-selling (target ~50% of time)
• Ensuring a minimum of four client feedback surveys per year with action follow-through
• Leading and participating in pursuits and campaigns for major BC opportunities
• Driving the client relationship strategy with Principals and BC leaders to improve client satisfaction
• Maintaining net revenue forecasts by period, quarter and year end
• Actively contributing to winning strategies and involvement at a hands-on level in key pursuits
• Leading the growth of the BC through business development, key pursuits, and sales strategy
• Developing and managing the M&B plan for the BC including cross-selling
• Increasing visibility of Stantec through client engagements to drive revenue
• Establishing a Go/No Go Review process with Principals and tracking compliance
• Partnering with other BCPLs and leaders to drive cross-geography collaboration
• Maintaining the opportunity pipeline to optimize business development and utilization
• Developing and maintaining Stantec’s Integrated Practice in the BC, including branding, account development and outreach
• Accountable for organic growth targets of the BC
• Supporting the Regional Delivery Leader with oversight of project delivery and quality practices
