Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our project teams. You will assist in creating design documents, wiring diagrams, and material lists for substations while working under senior engineers.

The role emphasizes learning through hands-on site exposure, applying electrical fundamentals, and growing with a team committed to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; power focus preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical AC/DC fundamentals.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design documents and drawings for substation projects under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations such as relay burden and load flow under supervision.
• Learn and apply NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI standards on projects.
• Support field visits to gain hands-on knowledge and training.
