Job summary

OMICRON electronics is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to grow territory sales and provide technical support across the Central East Territory. This remote-friendly role covers multiple states while engaging with customers, presenting solutions, and supporting post-sale activities.

You will develop product proficiency, coordinate visits, and contribute to forecasting and market evaluation, traveling up to 50% domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering required
• 2+ years of experience in power systems or HV apparatus preferred
• Experience presenting to technicians, engineers, managers, and executives

Responsibilities

• Become technically proficient in OMICRON products and solutions
• Develop, maintain, and foster customer relationships for assigned accounts and segments
• Coordinate customer visits and activities, give presentations, demonstrate products and test methodologies, and provide post-sale support
• Participate in business development, market evaluation, and sales forecasting
• Record and maintain all customer meetings, leads, opportunities, and activities per the OMICRON Sales process in the CRM
• Communicate with Sales managers and stakeholders; share customer and market data; report status at team meetings
• Coordinate promotional activities and participation at conferences, user meetings, seminars, and local exhibits
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Area Sales Manager – USA, Central East Territory.
