Job summary

OMICRON Lab in the United States is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer for the US Southwest. The role focuses on technical sales, customer relationship management, and application support across the Southwest region, with up to 50% travel.

You will become proficient in OMICRON products, deliver product demonstrations, and contribute to business development while coordinating with local distributors and the Sales Manager, North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in power systems, esp. protection or HV apparatus.
• Minimum 1 year sales of testing equipment/instrumentation for electric power industry.
• Experience with conferences/exhibits or seminars internationally, nationally or locally.

Responsibilities

• Become technically proficient in OMICRON products and solutions.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships for assigned accounts.
• Support Southwest Territory with training, forecasting, and performance evaluation of reps.
• Coordinate customer visits; present products and test methodologies; provide post-sale support.
• Participate in business development, market evaluation, and sales forecasting.
• Maintain CRM records of meetings, leads, opportunities, and activities.
