Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in North America. The role involves coordinating and developing power system planning studies, interconnection analyses, and transient studies for clients, with potential global involvement.

The candidate should have a bachelor's in electrical engineering (master's preferred), at least 5 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in PSSE and other planning tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in power system study analysis and planning.
Proficiency with PSSE software package (load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability).
Familiar with North American Market Operators policies and grid interconnection criteria.

Responsibilities

Support and deliver complex power system study and planning projects for varied clients.
Perform and review load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and related analyses.
Coordinate with Arcadis teams and clients; prepare reports and deliverables.
QA client reports and assist in scope, budgets, and proposals.
