Arcadis is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join its Power Delivery team. The role focuses on coordinating and performing planning and study work, including HVAC/HVDC feasibility, interconnection, and transient analyses for North American clients and beyond.

You will collaborate with Substation, Transmission, and Renewables teams, ensuring high-quality reports and client deliverables while supporting cross-unit staffing and business development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficient with PSS®E for load-flow, short-circuit and transient stability; familiarity with PSLF, DigSILENT, TARA or DSA Tools preferred.
• Familiar with North American Market Operators (MISO, PJM, CAISO etc.) policies and interconnection criteria.

Aufgaben

• Support and deliver complex power system study and planning projects for clients.
• Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and other analyses.
• Develop planning studies and transient studies per standards and client needs.
• QA client reports and deliverables to meet industry standards.
• Coordinate with Arcadis units for cross-selling and staffing opportunities.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
