Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in North America. This technical role coordinates the Power System Planning & Study activities and may perform HVAC/HVDC planning and interconnection studies, delivering high-quality analysis for clients across North America and beyond. The ideal candidate holds a B.E.

in Electrical Engineering (M.E. preferred), with 5+ years of experience in power system studies, proficiency in PSS/E and related tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Proficient with PSS_E; familiarity with other planning tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of NA Market Operators (MISO, PJM, CAISO, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead power system study and planning projects for diverse clients.
• Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and other analyses.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals; QA on reports.
