Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in North America. The role focuses on coordinating and developing power system planning and studies, including HVAC/HVDC feasibility, interconnection, and system analysis for clients largely in North America.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of direct power systems experience, proficiency with PSS/E and familiarity with NA market operators such as MISO, PJM, NYISO,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in power system study analysis and planning.
Proficient with PSS/E and familiar with other planning software: PSLF, DigSILENT, DSA Tools.
Knowledge of NA Market Operators (MISO, PJM, NYISO, CAISO, ERCOT, etc.).

Responsibilities

Support, develop, and deliver complex power system studies for various clients.
Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability analyses and more.
Deliver planning studies and system design with thorough reports.
QA on client reports and coordinate across Arcadis units.
