Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in North America. You will coordinate the Power System Planning & Study group and perform feasibility and interconnection studies, transient analyses, and system investigations for clients worldwide.

The role requires strong teamwork and communication, travel up to 25%, and collaboration with other Arcadis units to deliver quality, compliant deliverables and strategic staffing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience within power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficiency with PSS/E including load-flow, short-circuit and transient stability; familiarity with NA market operators policies.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and deliver complex power system study and planning projects for various clients.
• Perform and review power system analyses including load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and other studies.
• Deliver planning studies and system designs with thorough reports that meet industry standards and QA requirements.
