Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in the United States to service equipment supporting power distribution and critical power infrastructure at customer sites. The role includes startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will travel regionally, work with cross-functional teams, complete service reports, and participate in ongoing training while enjoying a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification in electrical disciplines or related field.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS and power distribution equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret schematics, drawings, and operation manuals.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solve with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical support teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Travel regionally for local or countrywide support as needed and collaborate with Project Managers on complex projects.
