Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Field Service Representatives perform assembly, startup, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites. The role is site-based with occasional nonstandard hours and a 40-hour guarantee plus overtime.

Within the U.S. Services business, you’ll begin with 8 weeks of in-person training in Dallas, TX, followed by online training and local mentoring to complete onboarding. A comprehensive Total Rewards package and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification in electrical discipline.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years field service repair experience with UPS systems.
• 2+ years field services or related experience.
• Strong safety practices and OSHA/NFPA-70E knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, and partners.
• Complete field service reports and expense reports.
• Travel regionally or nationally for support.
• Assist senior technicians and project managers on complex startups.
