Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Must be able to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, oil testing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot low, medium, and/or high voltage electrical systems.
• Install, commission, test, and maintain protective relaying equipment.
• Develop standardized commissioning and maintenance procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of industry standards (NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA)

Good theoretical understanding of electricity

Strong computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)

Good customer service skills

Education

High School diploma/GED

Associate degree in related field (for Power Systems Tech IV)

Tools

SF6 filled equipment experience

High voltage test equipment
