Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Field Tech for Power Systems with responsibilities spanning inspection, testing, and maintenance of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical equipment. The role involves data collection, troubleshooting, and start-up on control schemes, with on-call rotations and strict safety compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA standards, plus experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, and infrared scanning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with related field experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, infrared scanning or military power training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on low/medium/high voltage electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test switchgear and circuit breakers; perform maintenance, testing, and repair of transformers and related equipment.
• Perform start-up, troubleshooting, and repair on controls and transfer schemes; rotate on-call duties.
