Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking Field Techs (Power Systems Tech I–IV) to perform service, testing and maintenance of power transmission and distribution equipment. Inspect, test and troubleshoot high voltage gear up to 500kV and support start-ups and repairs in a safety-conscious environment.

This on-site role requires strong problem solving, customer communication and reliable teamwork to support mission-critical power systems for clients across North America.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of related field experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, oil testing, infrared scanning, and switchgear up to 500kV preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection for low/medium/high voltage systems (to 500kV).
• Test and inspect switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance, testing and repair on switchgear and circuit breakers (low to high voltage).
• Operate high voltage test equipment and perform start-up on systems.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory safety requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and peers to resolve issues.
