Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Service Field Tech to inspect, test, and service power transmission equipment in Indianapolis. You will perform high- and medium-voltage testing, data collection, and maintenance of transformers, switchgear and relays. Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting and customer communication.

Candidate should have a HS diploma, 1+ year related experience, knowledge of NEC/NETA/OSHA/NFPA, and a valid driver's license. On-site work with some travel may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with related field experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Ability to work safely and communicate with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and data-collect power systems up to 500kV.
• Test switchgear and circuit breakers; perform maintenance and repair.
• Coordinate start-ups, on-site reporting and customer service.
