Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Service Field Tech to test and service power transmission equipment, including high voltage systems up to 500kV, across customer sites. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data-collect to verify proper operation of relays and protection schemes.

The role requires a safety-first approach, a high school diploma, and valid driver's license. On-site work with potential travel; competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and industry standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and service high/low voltage equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection for HV/MV/LV systems up to 500kV.
• Install, commission and maintain protective relaying equipment, panels, transformers, breakers.
• Develop and document commissioning and maintenance procedures for relay systems.
• Perform functional testing of substation control circuits.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies as needed.
