Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of power systems design and hardware development experience
- Experience with 3-phase power systems and power distribution in industrial environments
- Proficiency in arc flash calculations per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E
- AutoCAD Electrical (2010+) experience or equivalent
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (US and international)
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and optimize 3-phase power systems and distribution for material handling
- Develop MDBs, PDPs, and substations with proper sizing and protection
- Perform power quality, fault current, and coordination studies
- Create single-line diagrams and panel schedules for facilities
- Perform arc flash hazard analysis and labeling
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to standardize specifications
- Drive project execution from initiation through commissioning
