Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Power Systems Engineer to bridge system-level power architecture with connector and cable interconnect engineering. You will work directly with hyperscalers and customer engineering teams, translating requirements into actionable product roadmaps and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience in power connector or related discipline.
• Foundational understanding of connector development and power architecture concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret system-level requirements and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in customer-facing meetings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements with customer engineering teams to develop power interconnect solutions.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector and cable requirements for product development.
• Act as front-facing technical liaison for power discussions with customer teams.
• Partner with product engineering and manufacturing sites to deliver solutions.
• Develop technical requirement documents and input for design-in activities.
• Support qualification, validation, and design-in at customer sites.
