Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to bridge customer needs with connector and cable interconnect engineering. You will engage with hyperscalers and engineering teams to derive power requirements and translate them into viable interconnect solutions.

You will work between customer teams and internal product development, R&D, and applications engineering, supporting qualification and design-in activities while tracking

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Three or more years in power connector or systems engineering; master's with 1+ year preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret system-level requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in customer-facing meetings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsabilités

• Capture customer requirements to develop power interconnect solutions.
• Translate system power architecture to connector and cable requirements.
• Present technical options and roadmap alignment to customer engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product engineering and manufacturing to deliver solutions.
• Develop technical requirement documents and specifications for new products.
• Support qualification, validation and design-in activities at customer sites.
• Track and apply industry standards shaping power delivery roadmaps.
• Capture voice of customer to inform roadmap and development.
