Sargent & Lundy is seeking a student intern in Electrical Engineering to join the Electrical Analytical Division for the Summer 2027 start. You will work on power system analysis tasks, including relay setting, arc flash, and cable ampacity calculations, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems Analysis
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with others

Responsibilities

• Assist with relay setting calculations and power system calculations
• Perform arc flash calculations and cable ampacity calculations
• Contribute to transient and harmonic analyses
• Support grounding and induction calculations and renewable energy studies
