Sargent & Lundy seeks a Power Systems Engineer for the Electrical Analytical Division. The role offers a hybrid/work-from-office and remote setup to support diverse power projects, including substations and renewables.

The engineer will perform relay setting, power system, arc flash, and grounding calculations while collaborating with project teams and clients. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, EMTP-RV.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay setting calculations and power system analyses.
• Conduct arc flash, cable ampacity, transient, harmonic, and grounding studies.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients for on-site consultations.
• Travel to client offices and project sites as needed.
