Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Chicago seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Analytical Division. You will perform power system analyses, arc flash calculations, relay settings, and related studies on substations, transmission lines, and renewables, with occasional site visits.

Hybrid schedule (office/remote) and a requirement of 10+ years in electrical analysis. PE a plus; strong communication skills to lead teams and engage clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power/Power Systems preferred).
• 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.
