Kiewit Power Engineering is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to contribute to design efforts across diverse power generation projects. The role involves conceptual design, calculations, drawings, schedules, and risk mitigation to support safe construction.

The position supports multiple office locations and may start remotely for some sites, transitioning to hybrid/in-office arrangements as offices develop. Strong communication and power-industry experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year program.
• At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred; experience in power/industrial markets a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Prepare designs for assigned structures, including research, lateral-force system selection, analysis and drawing prep for power generation projects.
• Apply department and industry standards to calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contracts, RFPs and professional service agreements.
