Kiewit Power Engineering seeks a Structural Design Engineer to support power generation projects, performing design, calculations, and drawing development. You will help ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery across EPC activities.

Based in the United States with remote start and future hybrid in-office work; requires ABET-accredited degree and 5+ years of structural experience, plus proficiency in SAP2000, SAFE, and Mathcad. Excellent English communication required.

Formación

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering and design experience.
• Experience in power/industrial markets preferred.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, word processing and general IT.
• Engineering software: SAP2000, SAFE and Mathcad preferred.
• Knowlege of ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, IBC.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare designs for assigned structures, including analysis and drawings.
• Apply standards when preparing calculations, drawings, and specs.
• Meet EPC, RFPs and professional service agreement requirements.
• Research new markets and adapt workflows to deliver projects.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams, vendors, and owners.
• Prepare and update project plans, schedules, and staffing.
• Support managers in achieving department goals.
