Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Practice Lead - Power Sector to lead and grow a team of consultants delivering air quality modeling, permitting, site assessment, and remediation within the power and data center markets. The role combines technical leadership with strategic expansion and client development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of environmental experience with 5+ years in the power sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications (PE, CHMM, PG, etc.) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting, plus strategic development and operations support.
• Strong people, project, and client management skills.
• Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Elevate environmental capabilities and visibility within the power sector.
• Refine power sector market strategy and materials.
• Oversee work product quality, service expansion, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Identify technical and geographic growth areas and trends.
• Collaborate with Data Centers and Environmental leadership to develop growth plans.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline data center teams.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff; coach and mentor.
• Perform complex analyses for broader projects.
