Job summary

Langan seeks an Environmental Practice Lead - Power Sector to head and grow a national environmental compliance team. You’ll guide air quality modeling, permitting, site assessment, and integration with civil and geotechnical capabilities while expanding our footprint in power and data center markets.

The role emphasizes leadership, client development, and delivering high-quality environmental solutions across projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in environmental industry with 5+ years in power sector
• PE/CHMM/PG etc. certifications preferred
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting
• Strong people, project, and client management
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and leadership to elevate environmental capabilities in the power sector
• Refine power sector market strategy and materials
• Oversee work product quality, service expansion, revenue growth, and profitability
• Identify growth areas and trends in power and data center markets
• Collaborate with Data Centers and Environmental leadership on growth plans
• Develop new clients and maintain existing relationships
• Coach and mentor junior staff on Environmental projects
• Perform complex analyses within broader engineering projects
